In 1974 Supertramp released „Crime of the
Century“ their breakthrough Album on A&M
Records. The Chart-topping hit „Dreamer“ and
the classic songs „School“ , and „Crime of the
Century“ are ingrained in the history of Rock &
Pop music. The unmistakable Vocals, The
Staccato Piano vamps, The haunting
Saxophone, The Songs and the Supertramp
“sound” are Indelibly Stamped in our hearts,
souls & memories. The original protagonists
Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson were joined in
the studio by Saxophonist John Anthony
Helliwell, Bassist Dougie Thompson and
Californian Drummer Bob Siebenberg (known
as Bob C. Benberg) for the recording of
„Crime of the Century“ and the classic
Supertramp line-up was born.
